Use the ASUS mobile app to configure the router with guest network options, mobile gaming device prioritization, and more. Additionally, the RT-AX82U supports ASUS Aura RGB lighting that can be customized with a variety of dazzling effects. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 port is available, which allows you to connect devices such as an external storage drive to share throughout the network.

After looking around and checking reviews I decided this was the router I needed to solve a few issues that my current one just couldn’t get around. Interface is simple enough to have the router setup and running the network within a couple of minutes, router boots in a minute and navigating the menu and options is pretty straightforward, the Trend internet security suite built into the router is also very effective. I am very happy with the RT-AX82U.

I’ve had this router for a week and so far, I love it. It works very well and I have great connection all over my home which is 2 floors and 1600 sq. ft. I also like that I have control over all my devices, so if I want to block my son’s internet, it’s as quick as opening the app and hitting one button. Really nice router.
