Awesome router was easy to get setup this replaced my old netgear nighthawk. I had generally always used netgear routers but after looking at the reviews I decided to get the ASUS RT-AX82U and glad I did. I have always had awesome experience with Asus products in the past and products like this keep me a Asus products buyer. Had this router setup in less than a hour and all my devices back on line. Thank you Asus for another awesome product.

Excellent router. Easy setup, runs fast and trouble free. Haven’t noticed any dead spots. Speed tests look above average in every part of the house and out in the yard.

I love the lights on this router. It looks so cool. I am buying the second one for my living room. ASUS makes great routers and the software is good too. In my experience, ASUS routers last years and years. Performance is always good to. Never have to reboot these routers. ASUS routers do give trouble when I try to link them in a mesh or as a repeater in my apartment. I cannot tell if that’s because of outside interference or the router firmware. However, I love the way the way this router looks and for that I can use a bridge to work around.

We needed a new router after a recent power surge. After reading a few reviews we decided on the asus. So far we made a good choice. It covers the entire house, was easy to set up and was reasonably priced.

I can’t give an honest review of this router because I believe that I am having internet connection problems. But as far as I can tell, this router is working perfectly!!!!

Fantastic performance. Gaming settings for mobile are awesome, too. My previous Asus router was only giving me 150Mbps. This one bumped me up to 750Mbps and I get 300Mbps through the old router as a mesh system. Love my ASUS.

Good router is plugged directly into a modem. We bought this to connect via wifi to our sons new gaming PC in another room and the signal was terrible. He wasn’t able to download or play games with the weak wifi signal so we returned it.

Its a great router, just know that many of the ASUS routers have a problem syncing with the NTP for time. Which messes up things that are connected to the router and need time. Do a google search for Asus router NTP syncing. I have emailed an called several times but no answer for this problem.

Great router, easy to set up and good performance. I bought this to replace an underperforming Netgear Nighthawk.

Very Satisfactory. We did need to add zenwifi mesh nodes due to the length of our home.

This will be simply a first impressions review as I’ve only owned the router a few days. However, from upon opening the box, unpacking the router to setting up the router and getting the network back online. Was quite simple, and flawless. The only slight glitch encountered was my smart lights went offline on initial setup. However disabling wifi 6 on the 2.4ghz band fixed the the problem, and everything is working as it should now. I really like the Asus WRT software, reminds me of DD-WRT when it comes to the amount of options and ways to tweak settings, as well as the built in tools for various management aspects. I have Gigabit internet through Spectrum, and get my advertised speeds no problem. Wireless range and speed is good. iPhone WiFi 6 is limited to 80MHz channels, but I still get up to a little over 800 Mbps down on that device. The design is unique and helps the router stand out. I’m not a gamer, but still enjoy the design and features of the router, and it fits in with the colored LED lights and Lava Lamps I have in my apartment. I live in a one bedroom apartment (877 sq ft) and have great coverage. I ran WiFi Explorer, an app for the Mac on my iMac, and my signal is no lower than 90% for both bands. Usually between 97, and 90%. I have about 35 to 40 devices connected, and the router handles them all with no slowness, or any other signs of problems. My status in the web management shows the CPU cores between 1 and 5% use on a typical day for me, and about 51% of ram used. Overall, I’ve had great first impressions of the product, and would most certainly recommend it. Especially if you don’t need something extremely high end, but low end is not quite enough. This is a good router to grow with, without breaking the bank.
