Use the ASUS mobile app to configure the router with guest network options, mobile gaming device prioritization, and more. Additionally, the RT-AX82U supports ASUS Aura RGB lighting that can be customized with a variety of dazzling effects. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 port is available, which allows you to connect devices such as an external storage drive to share throughout the network.

I noticed the speed of my wifi got faster. I have 400mbps internet. On wifi 6ghz my internet speed is at 480mbps. Before it was at 440mbps. On the 2ghz with this router is 100mbps and before it was 60mbps. There is no lost of signal. Very steady and never fails.

Fell in love with Asus when I purchased my laptop from them 6 years ago. After a couple of upgrades, it’s still running strong! Decided to try a router since mine stopped performing. I needed more range and speed. I am not disappointed in the least! Our house is around 4600 sq. ft and no more dead spots. The speeds are amazing. Even upgraded my old AC card in the laptop to an AX Wi-Fi 6. WOW, like going from single engine plane to an F-35!! Love Asus and love my router!

Works beautifully! For now we are stuck with CL slow internet and since they don’t rate for wifi their “wired ” says we get 50mbps haha! we NEVER do. This router bumped us from 28-32 mbps to 40-43 mbps!! Works like a charm. Super easy to set up and monitor. Love this so much and out gaming has improved with little to no lag! Now if we could just get the high speed internet here in the rural area that would be fantastic!

It’s really too soon for an accurate review, but it doesn’t seem to have the range of my old Netgear Nighthawk 1700 AC. Setup was easy enough and the wife really likes the lights on the front.

I recently bought this asus router replacing a netgear nighthawk and oh my the biggest difference you could imagine. Asus app is so much simpler and actually works compared to netgear. I love this router. The signal reaches so much farther to. If your hesitating about changing brands do not hesitate at all go get yourself this asus RT-AX2U it’s one amazing piece to have.
