Nothing fancy, works well. I’ve only used it once thus far, and it was easy and efficient to use. Finally replaced my 8 year old MacBook and the new ones have no CD/DVD drive; I put off dealing with it till it became crucial. I installed software to a new laptop not having an optical drive. Nice that it is powered by USB from laptop. Have not tried burning a disk yet. Seems delicate so I need a way to safely carry it and connector cable with laptop. A nuisance I have never before had.

It is just plug and play. I tried burning few CDs with it and it worked without any issues. Nowadays laptop do not have optical drives so it is really good to have one of them in house.
