This small USB 2.0 Wi-Fi adapter supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies with data transfer rates of up to 1200 Mbps. Once installed, the ASUS Nano Wi-Fi Adapter utilizes MU-MIMO (multiple user – multiple input, multiple output) technology to further enhance the quality of your connection as well as the data transfer rates.

Pretty good for an economic, external wireless connection. When computer is first started, trends to switch between the two different networks on my router. After a couple minutes it stablelizes.

Will not connect as a USB 3 device when connect to a USB 3 port. Runs only as a USB 2 device. I get a “This device can perform faster in USB 3.0 ” message when I plug the device into a USB 3 port. I ran all the usual troubleshooting procedures, but this network adapter refuses to run at USB 3 speed.
