The ASUS VA24EHE 23.8″ 16:9 75 Hz Adaptive-Sync IPS Monitor is fit for home and office use. With a 75 Hz refresh rate and the addition of AMD Radeon FreeSync technology, it can also be used for playing games. Specs-wise, it’s built with an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel that delivers vivid colors and has wide 178° viewing angles. It also has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution for crisp, clear details, a 250 cd/m² brightness rating, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, and support for 16.7 million colors. Connectivity options include HDMI, VGA, and DVI-D; however, please note that Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync only can be activated within 48-75 Hz via an HDMI connection.

this is a fantastic standard monitor. i have them set up as dual monitors for each dock, so 10 in total. easy set up, no frills, but great clarity. rivals more expensive monitors i’ve deployed.

VERY NICE MONITOR. My older monitor developed some visual issues and I needed the dvi connection for my current computers. My current monitors have a resolution of 1440×900 and I thought that was pretty good. I was about to be surprised and pleased! My plan was to test the new ASUS monitors and then store them until I had to replace the old monitors. But when I turned on the ASUS VA24EHE 23.8 monitor, the difference was like night and day. Working on typing, or excell projects are incredibly clear. Watching movies, either from my stored movies or yTube, it’s like being at a theater. I will be using the new ASUS monitors right away and using the old monitors on other computers. I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS on the color rendoring, games are vivid, I have not noticed any black ghosting. The only negative is a slight light bleed through on dark blackout screens. But with a light behind the LEDs that is a tough image to correct. I think the expensive OLED screens are the only ones that can have true black colors as they have no light behind the black colors. But for the price, the ASUS is more than what I would ever need. Now the ASUS screen is virtually boarderless. This allows the visual screen to be larger than the old stock screens of the past with the frames encircling the screen. The large screen size is great for my eyes, and the 1900 resolution allows many windows on the screen. If you couple this with linux where you can have multiple desktop screens, ( THIS IS A VERY NICE FEATURE ), you have almost unlimited screen space. There are no speakers in this monitor. Any additional connections always seem to create problems with my monitors. This one is simply a great monitor, I really like how it reproduces the screens, pictures are just gorgeous, and Movies are fabulous. For the price, this ASUS monitor was the right choice for me. In fact, I bought 2 of them for my paired desktop computers I work with. I am extremely pleased with this monitor and I do RECOMMEND this monitor if you have the connections for it.
