With a fast 1 ms response time and ASUS’ own GameFast Input Technology, the VG245H 24″ 16:9 LCD Gaming Monitor from ASUS offers an enhanced gaming experience with reduced ghosting. In addition to GameFast Input technology, this ASUS gaming monitor also features AMD FreeSync technology designed to synchronize the monitor with an AMD FreeSync enabled GPU to greatly reduce stuttering resulting in smooth lag free gameplay.
Setup and configuration of the ASUS VG245H gaming monitor is simple as it comes equipped with dual HDMI ports and a single D-Sub port. The dual HDMI ports make it possible to connect this monitor to two different sources such as a media player and game console. Once setup, this monitor boasts a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution along with a 1 ms response time, and a 250 cd/m² brightness rating. To complete the viewing experience, the user can tilt, swivel, pivot, and adjust the height of the monitor for maximum comfort.

This is a great middle of the road monitor for gaming. You can pay WAY more if you want to, but I don’t think the difference would be noticeable enough to make the difference pay off. The 24″ is a nice size and bigger might even be too big. Overall would recommend, and would highly recommend ordering through B&H. Their customer service is top notch.

The monitor has a good range of options for display, notably an sRGB setting which is great for graphic design. I would highly recommend this monitor for a Budget or a first time build.

I’ve only had them for a bit but the stats on this monitor hold up. The size is perfect for remote working and showing multiple documents and gaming is smooth and clean. Take my opinion with a grain of salt if you will because my last one was 20 years old. The only thing I overlooked was that there’s no display port option but the HDMI work just fine.

This is a perfect entry level gaming monitor with very good performances for both console and PC. I play on the Playstation 4 and the image is smooth (Low response delay) and the colors are bright. The angle and the height of the screen are easily adjustable: something I was looking for since I play in my bedroom from my bed. For those who are looking for an easy to use, customizable cheap gaming monitor I highly recommend it! The quality/price ratio is one of the best so far. Of course if you are looking for more serious equipment go for the 144hz as this one is 75hz only.
