This LED backlit monitor is bright. The set up is easy out of the box. The size is excellent for opening multiple windows of the computer and working the frames side-by-side. I also use this monitor to watch movies fed from my Android tablet through the HDMI connector port. Since this monitor has three input ports from VGA, DVI, and HDMI in parallel. I don’t have to switch cables. The only drawback is its flimsy stand which many people complaint about. I could subtract one star for that. I happened to have a square glass block to put under the left end of the screen. When I push the on-off button on the right hand side, the screen frame is supported by the block and would not wobble. I guess a similar wood block would serve the same purpose. I also got a $ manufacturer rebate at the end of October. It is hard to beat the net price of $ for this monitor function and quality.

I bought this monitor as a surprise Valentine’s Day gift for my boyfriend. My boyfriend is picky about his electronics so I was nervous about choosing the right monitor for him. I have not regretted this purchase for a second since he started using it. I read a lot of reviews on other sites saying the base was kind of shoddy and wobbly, but I couldn’t disagree more. The stand we got is actually really nice and the monitor doesn’t wobble one bit! Even my boyfriend commented that all the parts seemed to be good quality. It’s actually a pretty lightweight monitor for being as big as it is. The screen looks enormous on the desk. It took less than 5 minutes to set up and I was so happy it came with the exact cord he needed for his PC. The picture looks GREAT, the colors are awesome. He uses his PC primarily for gaming and this monitor has not disappointed as far as picture quality. Also, unlike many people that reviewed this, our monitor arrived with NO dead pixels. It is in perfect shape. My boyfriend doesn’t get too excited about gifts but he absolutely LOVES his new monitor. He was like a little kid at Christmas and couldn’t wait to get it set up. He has been impressed from top to bottom and I couldn’t be more pleased that I chose this one. This monitor at this price is a STEAL! You won’t be disappointed with this one!

I use this monitor for an extra screen to move around in when I’m editing video or pictures. Having the extra space is a necessity and I’m glad I could get it for such a cheap price. Monitor came in 4 days on free standard shipping. The quality of the picture is great! The only issue I have is that it is difficult for me to calibrate the colors to match my imac. The colors look great, but matching them seems impossible. Overall good product, great deal.

Okay, the bad news first– The base of mine did not have that ‘carbon fiber’ look to it. It is just glossy black. Also, the monitor has a ‘HDMI’ label on the lower left side. I looked specifically for a monitor that did not have that label. I feel like it’s like when car manufacturers have to say z-71 or eco-boost or junk like that on their cars. It just isn’t classy. Nobody needs to know if it is HDMI-ready but me, in my opinion. One last bad news point…as I type, this thing is a little wobbly. I guess my desk isn’t the most sturdy in the world, but my other monitor doesn’t wobble. I ensured that I did put the base on right. I think it’s just cheap plastic. The good news– It is the monitor they claim. Or at least that’s what my computer says the display is. It’s a really good looking picture quality. I’m used to my little 20 monitor, and this thing makes that look tiny! I am looking forward to watching some HD movies and videos on it. It has really bright and beautiful colors, but then again, i am used to the cheapest monitors I could afford. Albeit, these are not expensive by any means. But they’re more than what I would normally spend, because I am poor and cheap. Lots of great real estate compared to what I had. Looks good to me! Overall, if it lasts at least two years and Asus gives me the rebate, I will be satisfied. I followed all of their instructions meticulously, so hopefully that will pan out. It is what drew me to the monitor, otherwise I would pump more into quality. I’ve always been attracted to Asus products. They have nice stuff I think.

Compatible with a Mac. Using it with a 2014 Mac mini. Have had it almost 2 years. Large enough to show a full-size 2-page spread with room left for menus. Pleasing color, sharpness and vibrance. Use for graphic design and image retouching/color-correction. Only minor issue I have found is that it seems to crop out a few pixels at the bottom of the screen. Although it may fall slightly short of the 2003-era Apple Cinema monitor it replaced, I would buy it again, especially when budget is a concern. Great value for the price.

This is the largest monitor that I have ever purchased and I absolutely love that it has eliminated my desire to have two monitors. The color and resolution is excellent. The price seems to be way better than comparable monitors. The only thing that kind of bothers me, only periodically, is that this monitor is held up on a pretty narrow stand, and it has a tendency to wobble easily. My desk can be shaken pretty easily so I suspect that this would be much less of an issue if it was on a heavy desk that doesn’t move like mine.
