The display features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. It also boasts an amazing 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m² brightness rating, 2 ms response time, support for 16.7 million colors, and 170°/160° viewing angles. It can connect to a computer via VGA, DVI-D, or HDMI.*

I use this monitor for home use, internet and sometimes watching videos. The picture is pretty good. I had just bought a new Samsung LCD backlit monitor because my last one died and I had nothing. It looked amazing but I’ve had 2 Samsung monitors before this one and they both died in less than 2 years and they only have a one year warranty so I purchased this one and returned the Samsung when it came in. This one is not nearly as good as the Samsung but it’s alright, the colors are good and has a 3 year very good full warranty. It works fine it’s just not great like the Samsung but I can’t afford to keep replacing my monitors every 2 years or less so this one will do. The stand is wobbly like others have said and that makes it hard to make adjustments on it. You have to hold the monitor with one hand to keep it steady while making adjustments with the one hand. It’s not easy to figure out how to make adjustments and the manual is no help. But if you’ve not moving the monitor it doesn’t move, it’s fine. Overall if you want a decent monitor that won’t die quickly without being covered this one is a good choice.

I purchased the monitor to be an additional monitor for my lap top when working on school work. The screen is a good size for me, much better than the 13 I was working with. The picture quality is amazing. I do not game, so I do not know how it would do for that. The stand is a little weak, as other views suggest. However I have it sitting a rather larger table that is pretty solid. I do not have a problem with it.

Bought this as a monitor for online gaming on the Xbox One — VERY responsive, amazing graphics, and smooth game play. Quick refresh rate definitely provides and advantage in COD and other FPS shooters. You simply can’t go wrong for the price and quality of this monitor.

This is the first LED display 20 I’ve bought for myself (although I use one daily at work). I searched deeply before purchasing this display, comparing it to the typical big named brands that mainly only produce only monitors and everyone in-between. I have never owned any other brand motherboards but ASUS, so I trusted that ASUS would not let me down on this product line. And ya know what? The ASUS VS248H-P 24 LED Backlit Widescreen Display blows away any monitor I have ever owned or used. The picture quality is totally awesome for every application I’ve used it for or needed it for (i.e. normal imaging, gaming, movies, etc – everything). Somewhere you may find a monitor rated and/or better than this model. But for under $200 delivered, why bother looking any further? So as not to be biased, I guess that really depends on each of our individual needs. It’s easy to imagine there are new consumer products that out perform the older comparable products they’ve replaced, such as flat panel monitors and TV’s versus CRT monitors and TV’s (the great thing about modern technology). But to actually get something with greater technology and quality and cost less, is truly a consumer bonus. There is nothing about this bad boy I don’t like. It has all the inputs I wanted (or needed) and I don’t use the factory included stand because I have it mounted on a monitor swing arm mount. Fortunately the 24 width is perfect for my personal requirements otherwise I would have needed to buy a new computer desk. By good fortune, this display fits so perfect mounted on my monitor swing arm mount that it actually looks as if I custom built my computer desk around the display. I never cared for speakers in a monitor, so in this case not having speakers for me is a plus (and also likely kept the production cost down), which is fine by my standards. I would also like to give kudos to B&H. They not only had the best price I could find, but the display was double-boxed, it shipped it for free and to top it off, I order it on a Wednesday night around 6:30pm-ish EST and the UPS guy was handing me the box at my back door around 5:00pm-ish EST on Friday, less than 48 hours later! The only negative comment I can make is that I don’t have the room to set up dual monitors, because if I did, I’d have 2 of these without wasting any time or thought. As you would expect from my review, I would highly recommend this display to others.

These are great monitors for work (spreadsheets, and some basic photo/video editing). The monitors are really bright, so much that I have the brightness settings at 35%. The base stand that it came with were ok, but I got a wall mount for the pair so that I could use them side by side. My only gripe about the monitor is that it doesn’t come with longer DVI cables and the settings menu takes some time to navigate through

After reading the reviews of this and other displays, I chose this model based on those reviews. I could have spent more, but this one fills my needs as a graphic designer, photographer and gamer. It replaced a Dell LCD 23 diplay and I was stunned by the vibrance and clarity of LED technology. I’m using an Invidia 640 graphics card with HDMI cable in conjunction with a smaller, secondary LCD display so I can have source folders open on the smaller screen and use the large LED display as my working monitor. Some have complained about the stand allowing wobble…I don’t experience any of that unless I’m clumsy and jolt my work desk. Some have complained about the confusing buttons arrangement, and I would agree to a certain extent. It just requires getting used to them. Would I recommend this display to a friend? absolutetly!

Use my new monitor daily for graphics and film editing. Color, contrast and vibrance is outstanding. Seems to be very true to life and did not need to tweak the controls. The auto color balance works right out of the box. Monitor installed itself no need to install any further software like some models. Really cannot find any bad points about it so far it works great. It has a very stable stand and tilts to the viewing angle that works best for you. A great monitor for the price.
