I can’t say anything bad about this monitor. It’s very light and visuals are amazing. Price is a bargain. You should buy this monitor for gaming and HD videos.

This is a wonderful monitor for the price. Colors were great out of the box with very little tweaking. I have it connected to my xbox as well as pc and serves very well for gaming with no ghosting noticable. The only negative is the cheap stand they put it on. Very wobbly when using the menu buttons. The stand has some angle adjustment but no height adjustment

Perfect monitor. Bought it to have larger screen for laptop, son uses it for flight simulation software now. Plan on using it to edit photos as soon as color calibrate it. Is such an improvement over the laptop screen, plan on getting another one for work desk soon. Would definitley purchase this again, just sorry I waited so long to ‘upgrade’

Works great with the computer I just built. Theater mode is the best quality. No issues yet since I’ve only had the product for a week.

I was a little hesitant to get a 24 monitor, fearing it would be too big for my desk. Now that I have used this Asus monitor for a few weeks, I have no regrets only praise for this large, sharp screen. The VS248H-P was fine right out of the box. It is even better now that I have adjusted the screen with a Spyder calobration tool that I use for my Photoshop computer. Yes, the on-screen controls are limited and fiddly, but that is true of every standard monitor I have ever used. The Asus monitor is a really good purchase, especially at B&H prices. Let’s see how long it lasts.

Bought these for gaming. B&H had best price, plus $$mail in rebate. Very good monitors for the price. Have suited me so far.

I bought this monitor to replace my old ASUS VH236H. It sounds like not much upgrades here, but I just wanted to get a LED monitor for better colors. This one does have bright colors and better contrast too. When you put the monitors side by side, you can definitely tell the difference. I was happy with that. Just one little disappointment for no integrated speakers for VS248H-P. My old VH236H has speakers, so when you connect with HDMI, one cable is enough although the sound quality is not good. Now I have to get my old PC speakers out, they just don’t look good on my desk. I should get the one with spearkers.

Needed a new monitor. Have had a ASUS VS247H-P the past few years that’s been flawless, so I decided to buy a newer version of it for a second desktop in the house. And the new one is flawless as well. ASUS makes great monitors. Highly recommended!

After much, much review-reading and hand-wringing, I bought two ASUS VS248H-Ps for my office. I am running both off of my macbook pro (10.7) using an HDMI 2 USB adapter (BIOSTAR). I have now had them for about two weeks. They set up works just as I had hoped. A ton more screen space for working with docs, spreadsheets, webpages, etc. I use it occasionally for video and thought they were great for that, too. I did not notice any oddities (ghosting, drag, other words I wasn’t too familiar with before I started reading comments), but I haven’t really looked for them, either (other than dead pixels, which I have not found). I don’t game. Nothing against those who do, but I thought the office use reviews were a little sparse in comparison. As for complaints about stands and menus, I don’t see it. The monitors might wobble a touch if I manually wobble them, or if there is a small earthquake, but not once have I noticed it being an issue. I was able to navigate the menu easily after paying attention to what the buttons do for about a minute. Easy set up, easy use, reasonable price. Also, B&H had the best price and was great to work with. They delivered them quickly (about three days with free shipping). I am not a computer person, per se. Just a guy looking for more quality desktop space that fit within my remaining office supply budget. These have fit my bill perfectly.

The 24 inch Asus Monitor is a welcome change from the 20 inch monitor that I had before. The LED backlighting makes for a very bright screen. In fact, initially I thought it was too bright and used the settings to lower the brightness. But I am getting used to it. The colors are very vivid and it makes viewing much more pleasant. Installation was very quick and easy. No dead pixels.

My old monitor was on the fritz so I read through the reviews and settled on this one. It’s a great monitor for the price. I’m not much of a gamer but I am playing Obduction which, while not a shooter, is still a graphics intensive game. The monitor has handled everything admirably, with no blurring or ghosting as far as I can tell.

I run a high school broadcast program, and we use these on a daily basis. Great resolution, doesn’t overheat even after prolonged use, essential inputs for HDMI, DVI and VGA; and yes, this monitor is wall mountable (It comes with little rubber covers inside the VESA threads that you can pop out with a small flathead screwdriver). Just about perfect for the price.
