Works Great I read the complaints on the one star review, but I couldn’t pass up the price and bought one. My set had none of the problems others have experianced. Nice flat bottom, square sides, nice storage case, now I just cut a couple test dados to check it out, but it passed with flying colors. My set will never get heavy use, but if I have problems and have to replace it I will try to up date this review if this site allows it.

The Avanti Dado blade set worked very well. The directions for installation on saw were well written and helpful. The cut done was perfect so long as you tape your edges to prevent chips and splits. Made over 70 cuts all double pass on last project and blades worked as well on last cut as first cut.

The dado stacked set works VERY GOOD . It’s very easy to use and the box it came in is very well crafted. There is no guess work involved. With my old dado blade I couldn’t get the same setting twice in a row. I am very happy with this new dado set.

It was hard to find the total width capable of cut, while honest competition it is the first thing they state. I was looking for a 7/8 in total width and felt short of it at 13/16 in. I will not buy Diablo brand, but I will buy Dewalt next time.

This set cuts a dado with square sides but has a rounded, semi flat bottom with major “bat ears”. This is not acceptable for any type of finish work. If you need to cut dados on something that doesn’t matter much then this is fine. I would spend the extra money and get the better quality Diablo set.
