The blades are good. However I took mine back to get one without a broken wood case. When I looked at the last 2 in stock I saw one of the 2 remaining storage cases was also damaged.

The set worked great. I used it to make a 3/4” cut and all of them were very smooth. I have read other reviews of dado blades and saw they made cuts with uneven grooves. It was fairly easy to install and the pamphlet really helped.

This stacked dado saw set represents outstanding value for the occasional home woodworker. I use mine to make cuts for insetting shelves, tracks for sliding doors, and making rabbeting cuts for back sheets on cabinets. All cutting teeth are carbide tipped. I use mine in solid wood. Could be used for plywood or composite stock, but only when no other options such as routers are not available. Dry glue is hard on saw teeth. This set represents exceptional value for the hobbyist or occasional woodworker.

I read all the reviews and was a bit concerned about the 1 star comments but bought it anyway for a small job I had. In truth, this dado set far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the steel is good and the 7/16″ groves that I cut were flat and square. Don’t believe the negative comments, they either don’t know how to set them up or have different issue.
