Used to take residue off brick from old Fypon header (changed from triangle to flat header) Where there used to be residue from caulk and dirt. You have to be careful around the grout but it worked perfectly for what I needed. I had tried using acid to wipe down the brick and it made it 10x worse. Looked up a YouTube video that suggested to use this tool, and so glad I did!

I am stripping paint from treated wood deck. This disc is the best thing that I have found to make quick work of removing old paint without damage to the wood. Doesn’t clog up like belt sander.

I saw that other people used it to remove calcium from pool tile and I was happy to find something to make that job easier. I have some extra tiles so I tested it first on them and I’m glad I did because it scratched them badly. I’m sure this disc is great for stripping finishes on other surfaces because it’s very firm and abrasive so hopefully I’ll find another use for it sometime.
