I used the disc to clean a heavy buildup of calcium scale on the tile of my swimming pool. It worked great on the flaky scale, but required a lot of effort on the harder calcium deposits. The disc wears down and smooths out after a while and requires cleaning of buildup in the disc in order to maintain its abrasiveness. That’s why I only gave it 4 stars.
