   Not a bad wheel but the bristles quickly sprawled out to the sides. I was using it to polish old tools.

   My problem with the wire brush wheel was not with the brush itself but with the bench grinder that I purchased at the time I bought it . The grinder was returned because there was no way to tighten the brush to the shaft # 1 and the bushing supplied with it was not adiquate in my opinion

   The bristles on this wheel were not smoothly cut off the same length. Also be careful when first running the wheel after installation as some of the wire may be loose and will fly off; so stand to the side.

    I use this wheel for cleaning the rust off of old tools and it works very well.

    I was actually looking for a medium coarse wheel but they only had the “fine” in stock. It did an excellent job on the less encrusted metal but was too soft for the worst of conditions causing too much deflection in the wires. Overall it provides a good surface for finish paint and such but not enough strength to get heavy material off of your metal.

    This wheel is really good for polishing. It’s not stiff enough to remove much paint, but it does a nice job on corrosion and grime.

    Sometimes there are metal pieces of a ThinHaus than need de-burring. While many methods exist, using a bench grinder and wire wheel is the fastest and safest. These work very well.

    This is a fine wire, wire wheel and it is great for cleaning bolts and getting into threads. Not appropriate for heavy work.It is well-balanced, too. Does not make my bench grinder vibrate.

    So far, it works very well, however, I haven’t used it a lot yet. Center is a little thin, I shimmed with washers each side to capture. so far not throwing any wires.
