Albeit, there are some stray wires, the wire wheel lives up to it’s name. Whether derusting or cleaning metal, this brush does a fine job. Finding an arbor to use in a hand held drill or grinder can be a bit of a challenge until you can figure out you will need spacers/washers whose ID is the same as the OD of the 1/2″ nylon spacers.

Fit my Harbor Freight 8″ Grinder perfectly. Well balanced and stopped the annoying vibration that I had with the last two grinding wheels that I had on the grinder. So now I have a smooth running grinder with a fine grinding wheel on one side and the wire wheel on the other. Very nice.

Okay, I gave it 3 stars and a recommend to buy, but only if you cannot find a better option. Why? Because I did not expect this wire wheel to be so narrow. I have purchased other wheels in the past and they were all much wider than this one. Perhaps I missed something in the details. I don’t remember anything about how wide the wheel was, only the diameter. Still, it does what a wire wheel is suppose to do. I do like the grinder I put it on with a variable speed. You want to run a wheel like this in slow speed.
