Designed for podcasting, streaming, and gaming, the Live Streamer CAM 313 from AVerMedia captures and broadcasts at resolutions of up to 1080p and frame rates of up to 60 fps, for sharp, crisp video with smooth motion. Audio is captured using dual integrated mono mics, and the fixed focus lens has a working distance of 1.31 to 3.28′. Thanks to a built-in privacy shutter that also helps to protect the lens from damage, users will be kept safe when the camera is not in use. For greater ease of use, a horizontal 65° field of view and a 360° swivel makes use possible from almost any angle. Compatible with Windows and Mac, this camera connects to your host system using an integrated plug-and-play USB 2.0 Type-A cable that also provides power via the USB bus.

I bought this webcam for work at home and for live streaming and it has been great! Works amazing on windows AND mac with no issues at all. It comes with software that allows you to adjust the looks of the camera if you’re not fond of how it looks right out of the box. Auto-focus is pretty good and it adjusts to light very well. The camera cover slides easy and works great to cover the lense. If you can’t find the Logitech webcam available, then this is a great replacement.

I was disappointed by the picture quality on this HD webcam. The picture was granular in comparison to my older webcam and in comparison to another HD camera I tested. Color correctness seemed good. Overall build shows quality but I returned the item on account of picture quality.

I had tried and returned another, cheaper webcam before this and so was extremely pleased at how easy this camera was to set up and use. I use a MacBook and had no issue immediately getting started with multiple platforms — Google Hangout, Zoom, and FaceTime. The quality is great. Highly recommend.

I bought this webcam hoping it would work on both Mac and Windows because I use both. Although Windows 10 can see it and the blue light activates when I try to use it, I’ve never been able to get it to work. Plug it into the Mac and it works every time. The video is grainy and doesn’t work well in low light. This is mostly a dud purchase.

This is truly plug and play. I put the camera on my monitor and plugged the USP into my computer, went on Zoom and everything worked fine. The resolution was not super. The resolution on my Mac Book Pro is as good or better, this is more than adequate. One must consider the price. It is easy to mount and can be moved from computer to computer. I have not tried it on a Mac, but it works on the two PCs I have tried it on.

With the best Logitech webcams sold out everywhere, I purchased this as an alternative 1080p webcam for work. The picture quality is pretty good and the privacy screen is a nice touch.

I use this to teach online classes from my home office, and it works very well for that purpose. The video quality is excellent for a camera in this price range, and the microphone is quite strong (my students heard the jingle of an ice cream truck that passed through my neighborhood). I don’t utilize the optional software for adding animation to images, so I can’t speak to that. There is no zoom on this camera, but that wasn’t important to me. I simply wanted a quality, moderately-priced, plug-in-and-go web cam, and this fits the bill. I’ve already recommended it to several of my colleagues.
