I bought two of these cables based on Belkin’s reputation. These are the first “expensive” cables I bought for my phone as I figured I’d get more than 3 months use out of them. I was wrong– both failed right where the able connects to the USB C connector which shows me there’s a design flaw somewhere. If you wiggle the cable, sometimes they will start charging, sometimes not. Both only had about 3 months of use. Buyer beware– “expensive” doesn’t always mean quality.

This cable is as rugged as I expected and far more flexible than I expected. I bought this to replace the cable that came with my Nexus 5X’s included charger. I wanted a longer cable but also knew it needed to be properly designed to USB-C specs for equipment safety. Since I’ve been buying Belkin USB cables and accessories since the days of USB 1.1 I was confident this cable would be 100% standards compliant.

I have used a number of USB-C cables to charge PD-Power devices — this has been the best of them all, having the least issues. Great cables.

Great products from Belkin. All Belkin products deliver quality as advertised.

Great quality and supports all power profiles. I’ve had many usb-c cables that break at the neck or loose connectivity after a while. I have a good feeling this one will last based on first impression.
