This is not my first Dog and Pony Show. The basic setup here is five small buildings filled with radio gear, and one custom trailer with radios, computers and power supplies for very weak signal field activity. As one could imagine there are several appliances needing to plug into 120 volt sockets. The Belkin Ten-Socket Metal Surgemaster is really the only reliable distribution appliance out there. Okay, I had to modify the setup because there was too much input power cord length. And, I had to drill little holes in the flanges to screw the ‘Arrestors to wooden bulkheads. Inside, there are bypass ceramic capacitors and Varistor devices. There are pushbutton circuit breakers, and the power switch lights up with an internal neon pilot. The only way this product could be made better for people like me is to change over to a 12/3 Water-Proof S/O power cord with a suitable box connector, but that is something that would affect the price severely, so it’s better the end-user grab the bull by the horns and do some modding,

I have several of these power strips and they are the best. They have a metal case, the outlets are spaced out enough and it has a long thick cord. It has a very solid feel and the outlets grip the cords firmly. I use them in my shop and for computer equipment. I won’t use anything else.

Really liked this power strip because it can handle the wide plugs that some devices have – unless they plug in sideways – then you might need to use 2 outlets anyway. Love that its made of metal and that you can drill holes in the end flanges. Makes it so much easier to mount. Seems really well made. Bought a second one right away.

I bought this item 2 months ago for my nephew and it has been great and a good value for the money i paid.

I have this mounted inside a rack case and can run all of my stage power to it. It’s a sturdy build. Holes in back allow for mounting.

Excellent quality, fair price.

I play in two actively gigging bands and now have six of them in service. Not pretty, but very well built and not a lick of trouble.
