I purchased the BenQ 27 inch designvue after having read the many excellent reviews …yet, after installation at home I saw how well the monitor is designed, it looks and feels well more expensive than it’s actual price, the screen is stunning, the menu is intuitive with many options and it truly complements my new designer/creator oled screen laptop! Five stars, would award ten if that was an option

Everything is great out of the box. Super sharp. Great factory Calibration. Super clear HD playback and super clear photos. All around great deal for a great monitor.

Many people complain about how small text is on the screen after installing this monitor. That comes from the incredible number of pixels crammed into this display. And there’s nothing that says you cannot change the resolution to a lower number (which is what I did). The screen stays sharp even without being at the native resolution. I use the monitor to help with photo editing, so when I need to edit large photos I will reset the monitor back to it’s native resolution. Maybe I’ll finally get used to the higher resolution, but for now, my older eyes appreciate the (slightly) larger text. After running the monitor through an X-Rite Display1 calibration, the monitor did not appear to significantly change. However, the white does seem to be slightly blue to me – but that is subjective. I still need to compare a print from the lab to the screen to see if my perception is correct. Setup was easy, the monitor was recognized by Windows 10 and installation was a snap. The monitor will be very nice for a CAD/CAM application, and works OK for photo work. I have no regrets buying it.

I purchased this to add to my multi monitor laptop setup. I have it connected to a USB-C hub that also connects to another monitor. The BenQ PD2700U is VESA mounted to my wall and it is the perfect setup for my home office environment. The monitor was very easy to setup and the colors were amazing right away without calibration. It includes a factory calibration spec sheet so you can compare your own tests to it. This monitor has many inputs so you don’t have to worry about running out of connections. A minor issue is that the monitor is a bit too much on the matte side so at certain angles the monitor looks faded out. Overall, it has added to my productivity in design work.

I am a part-time photographer and videographer. I have been working for two years from a laptop only system and wanted to get a monitor that would allow for more accurate color and a larger workspace. Having used the monitor for two weeks now I can already see an improvement in both my attitude towards editing and the quality of my edits. Although this is not part of the photography line of BenQ monitors, it certainly meets the needs of a part-timer. It’s also an affordable investment for anyone wanting to improve their experience working with visual arts and graphic design systems. Although it’s definitely not a cheap monitor, it is worth the extra cash for someone who uses it for work regularly.

The BenQ PD2700U is great. I had many questions for the B & H sales people but after lots of discussion, I ordered the BenQ PD2700U. It arrived promptly, was very easy to install and has been working perfectly since I powered it up. I am running a late 2018 MacBook Pro and wanted an accurate sharp monitor for Light Room & Photoshop work as well as Excel and everything else I do with the MBPro. I have had enough birthdays to make it very desirable to have a bigger screen that is easier to see. The BenQ color calibration from the factory is a very nice touch. I also like how easy it is to change/set color profiles from the MBPro system preferences / Displays settings. At times during the day I get a lot of sunlight across my desk, but the monitor seems to work well for me regardless. I didn’t think the vertical adjustment would be a big deal but I have found I slide it up and down depending upon if I happen to stand vs. sit by my desk. I have been using the monitor for about 3 weeks now and am very happy with it.
