The XL2731 27″ 16:9 144 Hz FreeSync LCD Monitor from BenQ is a gaming monitor designed for professional eSports tournaments as well as everyday gaming. It features a Twisted Nematic (TN) panel that provides a low 1 ms response time that is suitable for the fast-paced action scenes found in First-Person Shooters (FPS) and racing games. Furthermore, with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, it delivers fluid Full HD entertainment. The ZOWIE XL2731 also has a 320 cd/m² brightness rating and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio that offers darker blacks and brighter bright colors for an immersive viewing experience. Due to the brightness of the screen, there may be reflections on the bezel of some displays; however, BenQ has outfitted the XL2731 with bezels that reduce reflections, so you can concentrate on the game. Connect this monitor to your system via DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort and then adjust it to your viewing preference. Otherwise, use the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back to install an alternate mount or stand.

the zowie monitor is everything that I read it would be before buying it. really recommend it. the item was delivered at the exact date as agreed with a perfect box with no signs of damage.

…the color profile out of the box is heavy on the green/red. Pretty inaccurate colors, but you can tweak them in the settings. Just know that if you plan to do color grading on this monitor, you might want a colorimeter. Amazon reviews also mention that the CD driver is required for inputs other than Display Port. Other than that, this monitor is pretty slick. A great budget option for a large 144hz monitor. Wouldn’t pass it up.

The monitor looks good but I just received this item for Christmas and there is a dead pixel on the display. I don’t think that’s acceptable for a brand new product.
