Bought 2 of these monitors for our new system, then one started acting up, shorting out and making an arcing noise, then going blank. Did the whole ck cables connections, ports the whole tech thing. I called B&H which gave me BenQ’s PH# . Called and got tec support, got a live rep, which said I needed proof of purchase and the model # to get a RMA#. Sent that to them and 2+ months (May-July 2020) later I am still waiting. I keep emailing them as to when this can be sent back…. for warranty repair… NOTHING! SO much for a 1 year warranty!!!!!!!! I will be replacing these with other Name brand monitors….next month!

This is a good upgrade if you can’t go the 4K route. Impressive clarity and a very accurate rendering for photo editing. Setup was really simple and the monitor was ups and running in no time. Package was delivered very quickly.

I got this more as a place to off-load pics I’m working on while I do another image. The difference in image quality between my iMac Retina screen and this is glaring. But it swivels to portrait orientation which helps it fit in my smaller secondary work-space … that way, I can keep a lot of distractions off my main iMac screen.

As advertised, colors are accurate, picture is overall great for graphic design and photo/video editing. Absolutely love it. Just a disclaimer because I know Benq is popular among gamers. if you’re looking at this monitor for gaming, you might want to consider another monitor with a higher refresh rate.

This is a terrific monitor. I would give it five stars, except I wish it had come with an appropriate HDMI cable. It did come with a DVI, and (why?) VGA cable. However, it’s got terrific edge sharpness, it’s tremendously great in HD or 2K settings, it’s adjustable in terms of angle, and for the price, it was an outstanding bargain. I’d buy it again.

This monitor was bought as an unplanned replacement for my wife’s work setup. Her old monitor started going on the fritz and she needs 2 monitors for her work. I was surprised at some of the features this monitor has, but i guess it just goes to show how long it has been since I have purchased a new monitor. The colors are crisp and accurate, which is very important since she is an asset designer and colors need to be true to the real world. The biggest complaint I have is that the included cords (power, audio, DVI, and USB cords) were too short and required us to completely set up her desk in a different configuration. Bought a separate DisplayPort cable so the DVI and audio lengths ended up being moot, but the USB and power are still an issue. Otherwise, my next complaint is that the included software disc was literally a blank disc with no data written to it. This raises serious concerns about quality control standards. Final grievance is that from what I read in the product specs and setup guide, it wasn’t clear that the USB ports on the monitor were powered by your computer, not by the power cord that plugs into the wall outlet. This is relatively minor but it also was one of the reasons why we chose this monitor over a different one. I understand that data transfer between the monitor and computer requires a connection, but if this were to be used just to power something like a phone charger, USB powered speakers, or other peripherals that don’t actually need to be connected to the computer, it makes it useless as I may as well continue using my USB hub.

Beautiful 2560 x 1440 resolution with HDMI interface from 2013 MacBook Pro 13… Echo mode auto shutoff is very cool. Nice!

This is a great monitor for our use. We work in Photoshop and Lightroom. No video, but I am sure it would be fine for that also. You do have to figure out the set up yourself. The online manual is sort of OK, but missing a lot of important info, I think. Tech support is pretty much useless also. Play with it and you can figure it out. Color great out of the box. Brightness set to 100%. We changed that right away to 40%. if you leave it at 100% you will need sunglasses. Buy the monitor. Price is not bad either.
