Immerse yourself in your multimedia content with the EW3270U Video Enjoyment 31.5″ 16:9 4K/HDR VA Monitor from BenQ. This monitor features High Dynamic Range (HDR) support to offer truly deep dark and brighter light colors, so you can see images and videos how they were meant to be seen. You will find a dedicated button on this monitor that allows you to turn the HDR feature on and off when needed.
In addition to HDR support, this BenQ monitor also features a 3840 x 2160 UHD 4K resolution, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a 300 cd/m² brightness rating, and support for over 1.07 billion colors generating a clear picture regardless of the content being viewed.
Setup is simple as the EW3270U comes equipped with both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs along with a headphone jack. Dual built-in 2W speakers complete the multimedia experience. Once configured, viewers can take advantage of a variety of features designed to further enhance the viewing experience, which include AMD FreeSync technology for reduced image tearing during intense gaming sessions, specialized video entertainment modes, and built-in eye-care technology to reduce eye fatigue.

I got this to extend the desktop of my new Studio Mac. I have the 27 Mac Studio Display and the 31.5 BenQ next to it. I can keep my design work on the Studio display and move email and spreadsheets to the BenQ. As others have said, the color is more washed out/lighter on the BenQ, but for what I wanted it for, it’s perfect. I wouldn’t do my Photoshop work on it, but I was really looking for extra screen space with decent resolution for non-color critical applications. It’s perfect for that!

It would be a nice feature to have a more adjustable stand, but really the color, the screen size and ease of assembly this monitor fits both my light gaming needs and photographic needs.

I’ve had one of these for a couple of years now and there’s really nothing I have to complain about. It’s a great screen and so far has lasted. I just got another one as well. Really a game changer to have two screens.

I mostly edit video and photos..The monitor itself is beautiful and has great image.. The only draw-backs are that it will black out from time to time, for 5-10 seconds. It usually happens when I wake up my m1 Mac mini.. I has no effect on my workflow. side note: in 4k mode your text will shrink considerably.. So I leave it in 1080 most, if not all the time..
