Take advantage of enhanced color accuracy and a variety of viewing modes with the PD3200U 32″ 16:9 4K IPS Monitor from BenQ. This 4K monitor supports 100% of the Rec. 709 and sRGB color spaces, as well as supports Darkroom, CAD/CAM, and Animation display modes. A built-in KVM switch makes it easy to control two different computers from this single display using a single mouse and keyboard. Additionally, the PD3200U features DualView mode to display content in different viewing modes, such as sRGB and CAD/CAM alongside one another. Switching between viewing modes has also been simplified, thanks to the included Hotkey Puck, equipped with programmable buttons to quickly adjust the displays settings.
The PD3200U features a 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz native resolution, along with a 1000:1 contrast ratio that provides a clear and dynamic picture. Additionally, users benefit from a 4 ms (GtG) response time and 10-bit support for up to 1.07 billion colors, resulting in reduced ghosting and a greatly expanded color palette when working in applications where color accuracy is critical. Setup and configuration is simple thanks to DisplayPort 1.2, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, and HDMI 1.4 inputs. With four USB 3.0 Type-A ports it’s simple to connect peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard directly to the monitor, while the built-in 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.5mm audio input, and dual 5W speakers help provide a complete multimedia experience.

I am replacing my Cinema 30 Apple monitor after 15 years. This monitor seems to do a nice job. I really can not give it great reviews until I get my new computer finished to test it out. Please BH gets some 3080 graphics cards. I was extremely happy with BH. They said it would be here on Thursday. Was notified on Tuesday it was coming Wednesday. Thanks

Love this monitor. I was doing photo editing on my laptop and did not realize the color quality that I was missing out on. This monitor is so clear and the colors are vivid. It was easy to set up and comes with multiple cables for hook up.

Exactly what my Linux nerd lifestyle needed. Thank goodness for 32 — the pixels are small enough as-is, cannot imagine 27 4K on my old eyes.

Bought this monitor mainly for Photoshop use. My prior monitor was smaller (like 24?) and not UHD. The extra screen real estate has made using Photoshop way easier but more importantly, I can see how sharp (or blurred) my shots really are. The puck is a cool & useful feature. The eco mode is nice too. This is my first Benq monitor. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Im impressed.

I have four of these monitors on two computers. They look great and work great. I use them primarily for CAD work, photo editing (Lightroom) and video editing. The downside is they will occasionally flicker. One got bad enough that I had to return it for repairs. Tech support was reachable and helpful. The flicker only happens once every day or so for a split second. This is really not an issue for me. Perhaps it would be more annoying if I used the monitor to watch movies. The on-board audio is acceptable but nothing fancy at all.

Love the resolution and being able to switch from sRGB to REC 709 in one click!

I have been using something else besides this high quality resolution monitor. Wow, I now know what I was missing for Light Room/Photo Shop!

The first one I received was defective and I had to return it. It did not power on at all. Then I received this one and was a little dismayed that the blacks were not black. They were grey. I tried calibrating it with my iDisplay to no avail. I wrote BenQ tech support. The response I received was that I needed an actual color management monitor and should consider purchasing either their SW271 or SW320. Not exactly what I wanted to hear after spending $700. I wound up removing the HDMI cable and used the Display Port instead. I also changed the setting In the Picture Advanced – HDMI RGB PC Range settings to RGB (16~235). The blacks were now black. When I told BenQ support what I did and asked if if was a recommended fix (since I thought a proper setting would be (0~255)) They said there really was no fix but if it works then go for it. Again they said I should consider upgrading to a color management monitor. So far the quality is pretty good but BenQ support leaves a lot to be desired. I dont think I would purchase from this company again.

The attributes for this monitor are well described in other reviews, and I agree with most of them. However, my unit had significant image retention issues right out of the box. My concerns were dismissed by BenQ customer support and I am left with a monitor that has limited utility. Ive since made this unit the designated playback monitor in a post-production facility, since the retention issue is minimized when the screen displays constant motion. If the video is stopped on a frame for more than two minutes, however, the retained ghost appears and it takes several more minutes to fade away once playback is resumed. As you can imagine, this makes the monitor impossible to use as a CPU Desktop monitor. Parts of the image like the GUI for Photoshop or After Effect can be on the screen for hours, not to mention desktop icons and menus. These would overlay the next application launched for some time before fading away. See attached example screen.

B&H is the only place to buy. There quality, price, customer service and products are beyond reproach. The monitor met all expectations and then some. The monitor is magnificent in all respect

A hobby photographer. While shopping for a new monitor to add on to my existing U2410, I realized that I have been using only sRGB mode all along. I did not venture out to Adobe RGB. So, opted to find a monitor that supports 100% sRGB with 4K@60 Hz capability (on HDMI and DisplayPort). This monitor offered features that serviced my purpose strictly. Pros: – Monitor setup was easy. – Display is gorgeous. I have not tried calibrating the monitor yet. – Navigating menu with on-screen buttons (touch sensitive) is slow. Puck provided with the monitor doubles as joy-stick for the menu as well to provide short cuts for most used options. I prefer to use that. – Eco mode is not a simple timer, instead uses a proximity sensor. That’s cool. Cons: – Folks with older board (X58 in my case) be wary of display port issues that can haunt. In my case, PD3200U + GTX1060 will display the bit-locker screen only if ASUS express gate is enabled in BIOS & if monitor happens to catch that initial splash screen about ASUS express gate (before BIOS splash). U2410 on DVI-D port does not have any issue. May be this will be resolved when I upgrade motherboard. At this point, I cannot say with confidence that this is not a handshake issue between the four (Motherboard, Graphics Card, Bit Locker Screen resolution, BenQ monitor). To note, motherboard does not have any trouble navigating through BIOS on BenQ monitor. The issue pops up only when it gets to a point where bitlocker screen should show up, instead you get a black screen. Windows boot happens after. – A monitor should be able to display OSD menu regardless of whether a input signal is detected or not. BenQ – in the name of intelligence – has put lot of restrictions on when the menu can be displayed. That’s really frustrating! Only menu I was able to get to so far was – input port selection when monitor does not see a input signal. So, good luck waking up a PC by switching USB upstream (more details below)! – KVM functionality is crippled by USB powering off when input signal is not detected or when the screen turns off. Turning of ECO mode and auto display off does not help. No input signal = no power to USB ports. For example, when a PC goes to sleep – monitor does not get any signal. But PC expects keyboard/mouse movements to wake up. BenQ conveniently turns off USB power forcing you to move the keyboard connectors directly to PC. – ECO mode with a proximity sensor (like nest) is so good. But this should affect only the display and not USB ports. So I have to leave this useful feature turned off.

Previously I purchaseddell u2718q which is 27 inches 4k. It’s a beautiful monitor, however, I can only use it at Retina resolution. If I increase it more than retina, both font and icon are two small. Therefore, I look around is there any good price IPS 32 inches 4k. Then, I found PD3200U, the border is not as thin as u2718q, but price is acceptable comparing with other models. So, I decided to buy it from bhphotos. It comes after 3 days. I’m super satisfied its picture quality and color. Although I can use it at 4k resolution, I still can use it at 3360×1890 .

The image quality and easy mode changes make this a great monitor for photo and video editing. Beyond that, I’m impressed by the high level of engineering shown. Documentation beyond a few basics, though, is sketchy. It seems written by a team unfamiliar with this advanced monitor. The design is good enough to overcome the substandard docs with some searching and experimentation, but that should not be necessary with a device of this high calibre. As usual, the B&H order and delivery process was flawless.

Been working remotely for a few days and am grateful most for the size and resolution of this monitor. The color options are wonderful and happy to have the hockey puck for switching settings and adjustments. Very easy to assemble. Comes with all the wires one needs for display connections. Price is outstanding for the quality and scale. B&H is quick to ship, reliable, and responsible… you’re shopping in the right place!

Have had the 32″ for 2 weeks and processed a LOT of raw photos. The quality has been perfect and the extra room on screen made the change from a 24 to 32 inch something I wish I had done before. Plus 4k has been eye opening in a good way. All in all I have been totally happy with both B&H and the monitor.

It took a little fiddling to match the color profile of my MBP, but it is so far a great monitor with no issues. I will update as events warrant.

Great monitor for the price. It’s easy to set-up and has quite a few useful features. Nice to be able to connect it to two separate computers (using it mainly for a desktop, but it’s nice to use it as a second monitor for a laptop). Fast delivery.
