Take advantage of enhanced color accuracy and a variety of viewing modes with the PD3200U 32″ 16:9 4K IPS Monitor from BenQ. This 4K monitor supports 100% of the Rec. 709 and sRGB color spaces, as well as supports Darkroom, CAD/CAM, and Animation display modes. A built-in KVM switch makes it easy to control two different computers from this single display using a single mouse and keyboard. Additionally, the PD3200U features DualView mode to display content in different viewing modes, such as sRGB and CAD/CAM alongside one another. Switching between viewing modes has also been simplified, thanks to the included Hotkey Puck, equipped with programmable buttons to quickly adjust the displays settings.
The PD3200U features a 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz native resolution, along with a 1000:1 contrast ratio that provides a clear and dynamic picture. Additionally, users benefit from a 4 ms (GtG) response time and 10-bit support for up to 1.07 billion colors, resulting in reduced ghosting and a greatly expanded color palette when working in applications where color accuracy is critical. Setup and configuration is simple thanks to DisplayPort 1.2, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, and HDMI 1.4 inputs. With four USB 3.0 Type-A ports it’s simple to connect peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard directly to the monitor, while the built-in 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.5mm audio input, and dual 5W speakers help provide a complete multimedia experience.

I bought LG 32UD89-W first, but it came with a crack on the display. I returned the item and as the item was not in stock, I had to replace it with LG 32 UHD 600. This monitor had connection issue and this time I decided to skip USB C and opt for PD3200U. The BenQ monitor is much better than the LG ones in terms of the picture quality and built material. I am so happy with this monitor and did have any problem so far.

I have an Apple and Dell UP3216Q. The BenQ kills them both for photoediting and functionality. Much cheaper too.

Best monitor I have ever owned. I use it for CAD and for photo & movie editing and the clarity and vividness is unmatched. I use dual monitors and only bought one at first couldn’t bear to look at my old monitor any more so I had to order another one.

1) its supposed to come in already calibrated. Is it? I dont know. It seems very BLUE compared to my other BenQ that was already calibrated. So I dont know what to say. I tried calling BenQ technical support but of course they never pick up their phone or return your voicemails. Ive tried calling them at least a handful of times now. I could sit on the phone for 2hours and after that the system usually just hangs up on you 2) in terms of the KVM switch: I was excited about this but it doesnt work that well. First off it took me over an hour to set it up. Because the instructions that came in the box are incorrect. And the tutorial online is also incorrect (and they dont even match the paper instructions). I finally figured out how to configure the KVM switch through trial and error (and i would tell you how to do it but i already forgot). And its not as convenient as i want it to be in operation. You have to toggle the monitor and keyboard/mouse separately….meaning it takes about 3-5 button presses to switch from one set of keyboard/mouse/monitor to the other. A properly configured kvm switch should take 1 button push to switch between ssytems, not 5 (because you have to manually select the output of the monitor (ie mini DVI, hdmi 1, hdmi 2, etc)….so you have to toggle through the different output options before you get the one you want…poor user design. The one thing i really like though is that the FONT of this screen is a perfect size. Whereas the font of my 24 benQ is really tiny and i cant figure out how to adjust that…

This monitor is just stunning to look at. I calibrated it with Spyder5 also from B&H. The only problem was the display port standard to mini display port that came with the monitor caused flickering so I used one of mine from my Quattro P4000 video card and perfect. I called B&H about the issue with the cable they had BenQ send a replacement.

A week into using this screen and I don’t know how I lived without it. Everything is as good as advertised. Had no idea about the eco function till I read the manual — it has a proximity sensor that when activated will turn the screen off whenever you walk away from your computer. Amazing!

The 1st I got was DOA. B&H send me another within 10 day, great service. The 2nd one works flawless. Wonderful pictures quality. B&H gets 10 stars for customer service.

Bought 2 of these, and I am using them with Ubuntu MATE 18.04. I upped the DPI/PPI setting in MATE to 128 (slightly less than the true ~140 PPI of these monitors). I use them for coding and general text-based activities for work-from-home, and they are great for this purpose. Good color, good controls, and nice clear text from the 4K resolution. I don’t game and I don’t do photography, so I can’t comment on these monitors for these uses, but for text they’re pretty much all I can ask for. Keep in mind that the monitors are physically large and somewhat heavy. You’ll need a decent size desk if you want two of them (I have them side by side), and you might want to consider VESA monitor arms for more flexible placement and so that the large stands are not consuming desk space.

I would keep the monitor, except the PBP function does not support 1/2 screen resolutions top or bottom, or side by side. For my purposes, I tried to replace two separate monitors with one 4k monitor – but this monitor does not allow you to split using PBP function with full half screens. It is letter boxed with black bars at the top and bottom. Returning this monitor.

I got two of these 32″ 4k from B&H. Excellent pricing, shipping and customer service. I do engineering and some 3D modeling and these were part of my new system. Nice fit. I have only had them for a week but they are amazing!!!!!

The monitor is great for what I use it for… Office and CAD. The stand is superior to lower cost monitors… it allows tilt, swivel and rotation to portrait. The power supply is interior to the monitor which is more convenient than some. The speakers are so tinny I don’t use them… I have inexpensive USB powered desktop speakers that came packaged with a computer years ago that I like better. This is only 4K monitor I have experience. I bought it based on online reviews of CAD monitors. I feel like I’m happy to have a flat monitor for this purpose.

Incredible display. I use it for web development and I’m able to have everything I need displayed on one screen. Color, contrast, clarity and brightness are perfect for my purposes where IDE/terminal look great side-by-side with digital assets and browser.

Instead of using 2 monitors, both HD 27, I changed to this 32 BenQ and have enough real estate with just one monitor. Excellent image quality shown at 4K. One of the best under $1K. Examine the specifications to see why. Strongly recommended after 5 months of heavy usage photo and video editing.

read some reviews that 32 might be too large for a desktop. Upgrading from a 27. Big improvement and excellent quality. Also fast shipping from B&H.

Honestly I do not have much to say about this monitor except the fact that its amazing bought 1 for myself for work since I am a photographer and bought one for my wife. Color accuracy is amazing and overall experience with the product. Cant recommend enough to the person who is actively working on Design or editing on every day basis.

My experience whit this monitor is so good, the size is very generous and the color mode is excelent. I use mainly dark room and sRGB mode… My only bad experience is when the signal between devices is lost at any time by a movement in the laptop or a touch on the cable

This monitor is very sharp, with good color accuracy, and calibrates well. Not a cheap monitor, but I think you’d have to spend at least 1.5 times the price of this one to get anything better (and that wouldn’t be a whole lot better). I struggled for two years trying to get a two-monitor setup to work well (with Windows 10 – never had a problem with 7 or earlier), finally gave up and got one big one. I use it for photo processing, usually with Lightroom, and the image area (i.e. area between the tool panels) is as big as the entire screen on my previous (22) monitors, and now I’m not looking from one to the other, or dealing with slightly different calibration results between them. Would be nice if it had a shade, but those can be had or made easily. I’m very happy with it.

I have been using the monitor for a few weeks now and I really like it. The KVM switch works well for switching between my laptop and desktop computers. However make sure you have enough room on your desk for this beast. You may also want to move the monitor further back from your desk chair. Also look up how to scale text under Display Settings (MS Windows). The default settings my PC used worked well (150%) but you may want to play with it. Have Fun!
