Quality is ok. Vise bolting slots did not fit the drill press I own so I had to make my on adapter.

For the money, this is a good vice. I needed something quick, so this was all that was in stock, and it worked well. I will be buying a front-to-rear & side-to-side sliding/adjustable vice in the future since I had to work harder at centering the work piece with this vice.

Picture does not match product. The picture shows a machined flat surface at the fixed jaw end. The vice I purchased has a divet at the fixed jaw which prevents the use of parallel bars. The vice seems sturdy and should hold items for drilling. Will need to clean up over spray of coating to get the jaws aligned relatively flat and mostly aligned.

I found the quality of the material and milling excellent. I did find there is some looseness in the moving jaw, but with the apparent precision of the milling, a little shaving on the moving jaw surface where the retaining plate is attached should solve that issue. All in all, a good value for the price.

Use this for my WEN 4214 bench top press. I had to go over the vise tightening all the screws before the crank worked smooth, without jaws binding, for the jaws, otherwise the vise worked great.

The vise works great – bolts to my drill press table and holds the wood securely. I do recommend also getting the plastic jaw inserts to avoid marring the wood.

Solid vise. Jaws are smooth and parallel. Good clamping for small parts with no gaps or misalignment like in some low cost vises. Thread is a bit rough, but will probably wear in over time.
