This drill press is heavy so it doesn’t have to be attached to table in the garage. It’s small enough to keep in a craft room. The only downfall is that it’s tedious to torn the crank. I would have liked one with an easier handle.

Good product & a good price…

Sturdy and heavy – just perfect for holding moderately large parts. Holding capacity is very good – tightens nice and evenly.

I have used this vise only once. It held the work piece firmly. My only knock to this product is the hold down slots need to be reamed out to accept 1/2″bolts. 3/8″bolts are a bit small for a vise of this size.

This vice met all expectations. Worth the purchase! Excellent gift for the man who has a drill press and needs a helper vise.

Works great. Used it on my HF 8″ Drill Press. Mounted it with 1 bicycle seat post quick release clamp and some wide washers. Makes adjusting it easy. Only need 1 clamp in one of the corners and it allows your to adjust the rotation of the vice and lock it down. The screws drive and the jaws were a little tough moving around, but a nice spray of Balistol on the screw and the table, cleaned it up and lubricated it good. Now the vice opens and closes really smooth. Balistol oils the metal like cast iron and soaks in, so it stays longer than just oil and is not measy like grease. Have build a few lowers with this setup, works great.

It’s ok, all the screws on the face of the clamp were lose and one was already stripped out. Doesn’t make sense but that’s what I found. Outside of that problem it is just OK.
