Excellent vise for the money. I used 1/2 inch, 3 1/2 inch bolts to mount it to my work bench…no problem at all in getting them in the mounting holes of the vise. Vise is strong and versatile enough to meet my needs.

I wouldn’t call it heavy duty. It’s more a light medium duty vise. It’s fine for light holding. But you really can’t get a crank down on it due to the way it’s made. Overall it’s what I expected. But heavy duty should be mean more like a Industrial vise. It is misleading.
