Description
The 1 of its kind in the world, the BESSEY GearKlamp works BIG in small spaces to provide a unique clamping solution for cramped locations, up against another object or, when reaching across something to clamp. The patented gear mechanism separates the spindle from the handle for greater clearance and is fully enclosed to keep out dust and debris. A quick release shift button for fast set-up and a rotating rail-mounted handle for final pressure application makes using the clamp very intuitive. Available in 6 in., 12 in., 16 in. and 24 in. capacities with 450 lbs. of nominal clamping force.

I love the clamp design and function. Unfortunately, they are over-priced by at least a factor of two (a 24” clamp for $30…a more “reasonable” price would be around $15). You can’t have too many clamps in the shop, but the price makes me think twice about purchasing many more of these. (I have two of the 24” – hoping they drop the price – I would like six more!

Excellent clamps. The quick adjust tab with rotating handle for the final tightening is an excellent system– better than my trigger clamps. Over time, I hope to replace all my old clamps with this brand/style.

This unique F style clamp has been very useful when there is no space to work the clamp handle of a traditional clamp. The clamping force is good. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars is that the round swivel pad on the lower jaw is easily knocked off, which is annoying. As long as the clamp is handled gently coming on and off the clamp rack, it should be fine.
