Perfect size for small clamping widths, but big clamping force (1000+lbs). Rubberized handle is much better than wood for cranking down the clamp. Well-known Bessey quality shows throughout.

These were the best for my purposes which, as a musician, I needed to use clamps to help mount a second dual keyboard to complete a 4 manual virtual cathedral pipe organ. They worked perfectly, clamped securely and the rubber handle ends made a no slip surface for the upper keyboard to rest on. They’re heavy, well built, quality stuff.

I needed a clamp with a deeper throat than the standard 2-2 1/2 inch. Bessey was the only one could find that had a 3-1/2 throat, and Home Depot was the only local store that stocked it.Using this on my miter saw to hold the work against the fence.

I bought this to clamp “sister” joists while the glue sets. It was perfect for that application. This is a very affordable clamp. It holds securely. It has a quick release so it is easy to size. The handle is easy to grip and tighten. I didn’t detect any flex in the bar. It does a great job.

When it comes to tools I tend to buy things that are way nicer (and more expensive) than what I actually need. I just hate buying something cheap that works for the current project but won’t work for all future projects. I have some cheap clamps that are very light duty. They’re good for quick framing cuts and certainly have their place. However, I wanted something that would apply heavy pressure without slipping or micro-adjusting. These were perfect. The deep neck makes them more versatile than the lighter duty Bessy clamps. Also, the rubber hand grip is signifigantly easy to tighen than the light duty painted wood handles. The deep neck, rubber tightening handle, and high clamp rating were enough to make me buy them. Hope that helps.
