A bit rough in operation, but over time it should smooth out and be an excellent bar clamp….definitely a good value for the price. Haven’t tried the longer ones yet, but will…especially because the thicker bar should be less prone to flexing when really torquing down.

So easy to use. Run the clamp down the bar until it’s snug; then tighten with handle until it’s tight.Plastic pads do not bite into the wood or mark it like the old C-clamps.I am learning to use my new router and it has held the practice material and guide down efficiently.
