Large heavy clamps. I wanted a 2.5″ throat version, but they were sold out. Turns out these are good for clamp stuff using my workbench. Other than being heavy, they work well enough.

It works great perfect for larger items

Great clamp but bar will flex when extreme clamping force is applied. Would love to see Besseye develop a deeper throat than the 3″ & 31/2″ that are offered. Would also love it if they would develop a panel clamp that supplies downward and lateral pressure.

These bar claps are very strong and durable, used them to hold a DIY butcher block counter top project and worked very well.

Great item! Totally recommend those clamps. Made a research before on what is the best clamp out there and this one came out as the result. Honestly, It is great and little of plastic.

These Bar Clamps are well made with a rigid spline that allows for high clamping force without the clamp bending. The deep 3 1/2″ throat allows the clamp to be positioned for the best clamping location. The jaws of the clamps have a plastic cap that prevents the clamp jaw from damaging the wood surface, which happens when using C-clamps with bare jaws. I liked the 24″ Bessey clamps so much that I bough four of the 48″ version. I just finished a butcher-block style laminated workbench and these clamps performed very well. A good set of bar clamps is a necessary part of a good working shop.

Actually, I did not purchase this as a clamp. I converted it into a spreader so I could install some fabric onto a glider. I had to grind a couple of rivets off the bar and drill holes in the handle; but by putting the end bracket on the other end of the bar, it became a spreader that was reasonably priced.

met expectation to the project that I had.

First time using Bessey and they are very well made, I was expecting more plastic and lighter but I got a positive surprise! I will buy more in different sizes. I also purchased the REV version on 24″ (nicer but much more expensive) but I think I will invest better on more clutch style.

These are good clamps. They are strong, have a lot of clamping pressure and do not slip.

I research and tried many other f-clamps and found Bessey to be the best. Things I found with other clamps such as Pittsburgh and less expense clamps actually flexed or had too small of clamp surface. I bought the medium duty Bessey clamps which provide sufficient clamping force for bending wood projects which require a lot of torque.

I was gluing old chairs and these clamps worked great
