You know the old saying, “you get what you pay for”? Well, that’s not always the case nowadays. Quality and craftsmanship has certainly taken a mega-dive in the last few decades. I had a clamp which I purchased 3 or 4 years ago and never used it until last week… It broke in a most unexpected way as I was clamping onto a project. Good thing I picked up that Bessey! Good solid clamp! I expect many years of use out of it.

Worked like a charm on antique rocker. No more squeek. Baby may have liked the squeek but it drove me crazy.

These clamps are perfect for any job. Only complaint I have, and it’s minor, is sometimes the sliding side wants to stick. have to tap it on the workbench to get it to let loose. No biggie, but a little irritating when you have something glued, and you are in a rush. I have several Bessy clamps, and find them very strong , and reliable.

I have a preference for this particular brand from picking one up at a yard sale. That one has held up well over the years so now I’m adding more. Definitely satisfied with the purchase

this product is well made but could use a few tweeks to make it better. this is not a silver bullet to all you clamping jobs, but will do most of your common clamping needs.

I have a wide assortment of Bessey bar clamps and they are great clamps with minimal flex. They adjust easily and are the perfect addition to our woodshop.

After using the cheap harbor freight clamps and them stripping out, these were very welcome in my shop. They work remarkably well and I plan to purchase more as they are needed.

These are just fine for clamping, the price is right, but I wish I had seen that the sliding clamp side cannot be removed to clamp outward without grinding off the weld nubs at the end of the bar.
