The BESSEY K Body REVO is a new, mid-sized version of what made the full-sized REVO parallel clamp so great. While 30-40% lighter than other parallel clamps of similar capacity, still offers 900 lbs. of clamping force. This degree of performance is still better than that of many of our competitors’ full sized products.
- Large parallel clamping surface with removable jaw protective pads
- Large and easy to turn wood handle
- Jaws clamp at accurate 90° angles
- K BODY REVO JR may be light in weight but not light on clamping force, it provides up to 900 lbs. of clamping force
- Easily converts to spreader, no tools required

These are the best! These are quick and easy to use, plenty of pressure across the clamp and removable protective covers that make clean-up easy when you get glue on them. This is a solid clamp that will become a basic tool in your shop. These will make it easier for me to tackle some of those projects I’ve been avoiding. Nice job on these!

I have used this clamp on a couple of wood working projects and its an excellent clamp. I like having parallel clamps around because of the flat bottoms and straight jaws. They sit upright when placed on a table, which can be a big advantage over bar clamps. This clamp has plenty of clamping force for my projects. The only question I have about this product offering (and the reason for the 3 star value rating) is it seems to be a downgrade (smaller bar, lower clamping force) from Bessey’s full size parallel clamp lineup at roughly similar pricing. While I do think this is a great clamp and has plenty of clamping force, it seems hard to justify saving a dollar or two on the JR series instead of just buying the full size REVO clamps.

First, these are not pipe clamps – so already they’re great. I learned the hard way that pipe clamps can leave black marks on your workpiece and – worse – rack it so that it’s out of square. For consistent, accurate clamping of projects that require precision, I use these. This includes making cabinet carcases, cabinet doors, shelving units, drawers, and occasionally when pre-assembling window or door jamb extensions.Compared to other parallel clamps, these have a few extra benefits:- the release mechanism is easy to engage/disengage (you tilt the handle),- the spacers keep your workpiece lifted just off the bar (so no glueing your project to the clamp),- Bessey also makes great accessories for these, including an extender that allows you to couple two clamps for longer/bigger jobs, and KP blocks that allow you to set up 4 clamps (2 sets one direction and 2 at right angles to the first pair) for clamping perfectly square pieces; and- they do exactly what they’re supposed to, which is apply consistent clamping pressure throughout the length of the jaws so that you don’t clamp your work out of square.Overall these are the best parallel clamps out there. The only thing that would make these absolutely perfect would be if they had ruler markings (but a sharpie took care of that easily enough). If you’re doing cabinet or furniture work where precision is important, you need these!

Possibly the best clamp of its type on the market. Once you use this clamp, you will not be satisfied with any other.

the jaws of this clamp apply a lot of pressure without marring the wood

Compared to my older Bessey clamps the new ones are very hard to adjust to length. It is frustrating when your 2 inches from the point you want to begin tighting and the clamp sticks. Have used them about 20 times

Any professional or amateur woodworker knows that the right tools make all the difference between a smooth project and a frustrating struggle. Bessey does it again with their K-Body Revo Jr that performs flawlessly. High quality, easy to use for a non-traditional design, and sturdy. Some clamps are flimsy but not this one.Get many because you need more than one clamp.
