Description
The BESSEY 12 in. version of the RSC Series clamp is an all-steel metal fabrication clamp that is known for its vibration resistance. All clamps that are tightened via a threaded spindle mechanism will work loose when subjected to extended periods of vibration. The patented “OMEGA” bends RSC series clamps are designed to resist vibration by adding a lateral load to the spindle and by adding a degree of positive resistance during high vibration activities.

- Fixed arm and pressure plate produced and tempered from one piece of quality BESSEY steel

I have been and am an Industrial Maintenance Technician (of the multi-craft genre). I use clamps as this frequently. They are fast, and many times can start supporting the work with only one hand on the clamp. I have several of these of different sizes as well as other clamping devices. If you do metalworking fabrication and repair, this tool (and many more like or similar) are well worth the money spent. And they last a long time too; I’ve tried to break many of them. I’ve damaged a few, but never broke one.

this in an awesome product.. very heavy duty does not flex like lesser clamps. I actually modified this to use with a porta pack hydraulic press and it stands up to the 10 tons that the press exerts. it is German made and even cutting it was difficult due to the high quality steel

This is the best clamp like this HD sells and seems to be as good or better a price as anywhere else. It’s easy to use, strong as anything and built to last. If the $50 doesn’t put you off and you can put up with the weight, solid steel means it’s heavy, you won’t find a better clamp almost anywhere.

Well made and the excellent quality I expected from a Bessey product. I have noticed that some of the Bessey stuff is made in China, but it is also priced accordingly. This one is made in Germany, at least the one I purchased. The finish and functionality is great.I just wish there were a couple more sizes of these (or a set) available through Home Depot, although this one will work for most of the stuff I need it for.
