This rapid acting 23 ft. strap clamp makes clamping round or irregular shaped objects a much easier task. Clamping irregular shapes with strap clamps is not a new idea; however, most clamps of this style exert force (pull) in only one direction and this can easily distort the work piece. The BESSEY VAS-23+2K is different as it pulls equally on both ends of the strap, eliminating the chance of distorting your work piece to one side. The high tensile woven polyester strap is extremely strong and there is a built in take-up reel that neatly stores the excess strap.
- An excellent tool for clamping round or irregular shaped objects
- Strap is drawn simultaneously from two sides to ensure pressure is applied equally
- Integrated rewind mechanism that neatly stores excess strap
- 4 twin-tilting pads are variable in a range from 60 degrees to 180-degrees
- Woven polyester strap with 1000 lbs. tensile strength is resistant to tearing

Easy to use. I was making several large picture frames. This was great for getting them square and glued.

I have already used this clamp to build two frames and hold the legs of a chair together after gluing them back together.

I had a 5 ft by 4 ft picture frame that had fallen and broke. This tool allowed me to glue and secure the joints and repair the frame. The picture is back in its proper place.

Cheaper equally effective clamps out there

It was great once it was set in place. I would give it 5 stars but the angle corners popped of numerous times before staying in place.

I believe this company used to make a steel band version of this product. I used to have one. It was far superior because you didn’t have to worry about losing the cornet clamps and everything was much sturdier. This product does work, however. If I did not know how these used to be made, I might be happier with it.

I use this clamp for picture frames and it is perfect. Very good design, and tightens very strong. Anyone who joins frames knows that there are endless ways that each woodworker has to join mitered corners, and many of them require many clamps or custom jigs. The real key, in my opinions, is to have a good saw blade thats cuts accurate miters, double check that your saw’s 45° measurement is REALLY 45° with a speed square of draftsman triangle, and a good clamp to pull it together. This clamp does that and I’m very happy!

lI use these clamps to make cylinder to turn on the. lathe and to assemble chairs. The. corner pads protect the project from the strap diging in to the corner. A great product.

Best strap clamp on the market

This was the exact tool I needed to glue the picture frame back together.

This is the best strap clamp I’ve used. It’s lightweight and easy to adjust. I’d give it 5 stars except that the crank is a little bit awkward to use. I found myself wishing it were on the right side rather than the left…a small issue, and possibly just my issue.

The concept is good but the four corner clap parts are too small. A doubling in size would not be too much.
