This rapid acting 23 ft. strap clamp makes clamping round or irregular shaped objects a much easier task. Clamping irregular shapes with strap clamps is not a new idea; however, most clamps of this style exert force (pull) in only one direction and this can easily distort the work piece. The BESSEY VAS-23+2K is different as it pulls equally on both ends of the strap, eliminating the chance of distorting your work piece to one side. The high tensile woven polyester strap is extremely strong and there is a built in take-up reel that neatly stores the excess strap.
- An excellent tool for clamping round or irregular shaped objects
- Strap is drawn simultaneously from two sides to ensure pressure is applied equally
- Integrated rewind mechanism that neatly stores excess strap
- 4 twin-tilting pads are variable in a range from 60 degrees to 180-degrees
- Woven polyester strap with 1000 lbs. tensile strength is resistant to tearing

I was looking for a tool that can hold my frame project together until glue set. My frame was 36″ x 28″. This product was very easy to use. I have several more frame projects to complete, so this is one tool that I would use often.

Seems like decent quality, I haven’t used it extensively but for the price (got it on sale) I’m fairly happy with it!

Worked as expected on the project I bought it for. (Clamping sides of a simple box with 45 Deg angle cuts) However, after opening the packaging I found that one of the four corner pad devices was missing it’s swivel feet. I had to shim under the bare ends of it with small pieces of wood scrap. Other than the missing parts problem, I’d recommend it.

lI use these clamps to make cylinder to turn on the. lathe and to assemble chairs. The. corner pads protect the project from the strap diging in to the corner. A great product.

Easy to use. Works as expected. Always tighten slowly to avoid cracking materials or shifting in angles.

This clamp was very good for a band clamp. It has 4 corner clips that adjust for the shape of the corner. This clamp has a longer strap than other similar clamps and it pulls tight from both sides giving equal tension all around. Limitations: the clamp has no means of stabilizing each corner equally; so, care must be used to make sure the corners and angles are set how you want them to stay before the glue starts drying.

It does the job but you needs spend some time setting the corners properly before the belt is tied.

Great for frames of any shape

Exactly what I was looking for.

It’s really hard to pull out slack and also to turn the crank to take up the slack. Prefer the one I had that was similar to a tie down strap.

I used this to assemble a picture frame I built out of reclaimed wood. I like way the corner brackets are captured to the strap. It worked Great! Looking forward to the next project with it.

This didn’t come with any instructions and it took a few moments to figure out how to use it. That’s the only reason I dinged it a star. It works great!

I made a wood frame for a picture with mitered corners and this worked perfectly to glue it together! Very easy to use and can be as big or small as needed.

There were no instructions on how to use it so I had to improvise. I had an ancient Amoire that was coming apart on the upper corners. I looked for a 6’ clamp at HD but could not find one but I did find this product. There are 2 methods of tightening the strap, a coarse one and a fine one.

Worked well helping me build my custom picture frame. Don’t know how I would have glued it without this tool.
