Ratcheting hand clamps differ in that they work in an opposite fashion to regular spring clamps. It is your hand that provides the clamping force, and the spring forces the jaws apart when the quick release trigger is pressed. They are available in two sizes; 2 in. and 4 in. capacity.
- Soft, anti-slip 2 component handle for comfort
- Heavy duty resin construction with pivoting jaws
- Rapid-action
- Positive locking mechanism
- Ratcheting mechanism provides variable clamping pressure
- Riveted pivoting clamp pads won’t fall off
- Unique and innovative design for productivity
- Swiveling pads engineered to provide secure clamping on variety of shapes and work surfaces

This ratcheting clamp is SO superior to spring loaded clamps that I can’t imagine how I ever got by without it before! I holds firm every time.

I bought this for son-in-law. He seemed happy with his Christmas gift. I don’t know if it worked okay or not.

Nice clamp, but didn’t hold the way I wanted it to, and my hand got pinched when I removed it. I returned this item and got a refund.

I wish it had rubber tips but asides from that so far so good.

Works OK for the purpose

This is one of the best hand clamps I have ever used. It is easy to use with one hand and clamps tight with little effort.

Does the job required. I’ve used lower priced items along side of it while hanging upper cabinets in a laundry room. The lower price spring loaded models seem to work as well for that use case but I can think of other use cases where the locking latch aspect would be the best tool.
