I recently received the Black and Decker – 6.5 Quart Multicooker from Spectrum Brands and I love it so far. I just made a 5 lb roasted chicken in it and it turned out wonderful. The chicken cooked through and was tender and juicy. The cooking pot is coated so cleanup is easy and the controls were very easy to use and understand. I would recommend this multicooker to anyone.

This is an amazing product from black and decker I had a multicooker but I got rid of it cause it sucked compared to this one .. It is very easy to use and beautiful and durable. The product is very durable and I made a duck in it and it came out just perfect and I have made many ducks before and this multicooker makes the perfect food.

Thought this was more like a crock pot than a cooker. It has no timer on it so you can’t turn it on and set the time like a crock pot. It does have crock pot features as well as sauté, roast and warm. It works very well and I am pleased with this item.

I like the ability to saute the meat in this instead of having to use a separate pan. Convenient to brown meat and cook in the same pan. Heats up evenly and cooks like a normal crock pot. Nice metal look to the out side. A large handle on the lid make is great to lift.

I am a single girl in an 800 sq. ft. house. I don’t have room for a range so I bought a burner and toaster oven to use. The toaster oven is okay for some things but not great for baking, things burn easily without cooking in the middle. I love this multi-cooker. The first thing I did was baking and it worked beautifully. Everything browned on the bottom without burning and cooked thoroughly. I have made roasts that turned out well. I thought it would be too big for me but has not been the case. I cannot say enough about this cooker. Very happy with it.I received this product to try in exchange for my honest opinion.

Having the new Black & Decker 6.5 Quart Multicooker makes my job in the kitchen even easier!All your recipe ingredients can be made and seared in the multicooker before you add the liquid. This makes cleanup a snap, with less pans needing cleaned. It also means that you can caramelize onions for French onion soup, or sear your meats – in the multicooker before you start cooking it.This oven also has temperatures like an oven – from 200 to 450 degrees, which makes it easier to tell exactly how hot your crockpot will get. This also means you can time the cooking better.I highly recommend this item to anyone with a big family looking to cook a delicious meal fast!

This cooker has all the bells and whistles and I was so excited to receive and try it. I use a slow cooker weekly so to have one that I could also to roasting and searing in was a definite plus for me. When I explained to my husband what all the dials were for his response was, “so you don’t even need the oven?”. This was an awesome response and fit perfectly because he was right, I can do anything i usually do right here in this cooker! Aside from doing everything, it was simple to setup and the controls were easy to use as well as it being really easy to clean. I absolutely love this product! I would recommend it to anyone.

I received the Black+Decker 6.5 qt multicooker a few days ago and I am so happy with the performance I made a pot roast in it and it was great to be able to Sear my beef an with the flip of a switch turn it in to a slow cooker.Clean up was a breeze just lift out the cooking pan and some warm soapy water and it was just sparklingly clean..A must have for every kitchen..

We tried the Multicooker two times so far. The first was a potato soup based on the recipe in the instruction booklet. It worked out well. The second try was roasting a pork roast. The searing worked well – the cooking surface was hot and did the job. The roasting however did not work as well. The roast stuck to the bottom of the pan and seemed to remove some of the non-stick coating. The roast was dry when the process was over. Not a good result.Separately, the instruction booklet was lacking a good selection and variety of recipes to try. With a brand new device to experiment with, a selection of “example” recipes would be helpful. If not exactly what we might want to do at least they would provide guidance to start with for developing or own selections.

I received this as a product to review from Spectrum Brands. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this! You can saute, sear, bake, roast, and slow cook! My little oven is awful, as it is electric burners, so they smoke and smell sometimes. Well now that I have this and can saute my veggies, I do not have to heat the stove-top up everyday! I would highly recommend this cooker, especially to moms on the go. Just pop in all ingredients, turn on, and go. Dinner is always hot and ready to serve when you come home from work! All around just a wonderful product!

I was absolutely thrilled to get to try this multi cooker because I live a very busy life but want to be able to cook and enjoy great food. The multi temperature settings made it easy to slow cook delicious food and then switch to the warming feature which kept it warm without over cooking it. The removable cooking pot and tempered lid are dishwasher safe which made clean up a breeze. Disclaimer: I was given this product to review for free and with that being said These are still my honest opinions. I love this multi cooker and can’t believe I have lived without it. I love that it can be a frying pan, oven or a crock pot. I can use one “cooking pot” and not dirty several. When a recipe calls for browing of the meat then cook/ crockpot you can do it all in one, I love that. I usually skip that step because it just is not convienent/have the time but now I do.

This is a good buy if you’re looking for a slow cooker with added benefits. I hate having to dirty extra dishes and pans by having to brown meat before adding it to the slow cooker. I can brown my meat right in this and then add the other ingredients to complete my slow cooker meal. It cuts down on time and dirty dishes! This multi cooker is huge though. It’s not something to leave on the counter full time unless you have loads of counter space. I keep mine in my basement. The inside crock is dishwasher safe. You can sear meat, saute veggies and slow cook all in this one multi cooker. It’s 6.5 quarts so it’s perfect for a larger family like mine. The stainless steel handles do get hot so use caution when touching them! I also love the oven feature on here. It can go up to 450 degrees. All in all, it’s a nice appliance to have!

I just love my Black & Decker 6.5 Quart Multicooker. Last night I baked boneless, skinless chicken breasts in it and it was amazing. My food cooked evenly, was super juicy and I didn’t have to heat up the whole house. The fact that I can cook, bake, make soup and sear meats all in one device, is just so awesome. And let me tell you about the clean up…..SUPER EASY. The food just slid right off of the ceramic dish that the food is cooked in. I would definitely recommend this product for everyone. I will be taking mine camping with us in our trailer. This is like a portable stove, frying pan and crock pot all in one. The functions on this item are easy to read and extremely easy to use.
