I like this tool so much I bought a total of three of them. The price is unbeatable, and the unit comes with batteries. The tape has more of bend in it compared to normal tape measures, so you can extend it out further before the tape collapses. This is great for a one person measuring job.

Excellent tool when working alone and when measuring long boards and especially when working in tight places. My wife even likes this because she can do her measuring without asking for my help. The only detriment is the weight of the tool which is why I rate it as ‘Good’ and not ‘Excellent’. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and the original batteries are still going strong.

This is too bulky to substitute for a non-motorized tape measure. It is a great addition however. I have used it many times when working without enough hands. I bought it on sale and it is worth every penny. At the regular price listed however, I might have been more frugal with my stars.

I wanted a tapemeasure that would be easy to use one handed, this would be good for that except it is much to large and heavy. It does function as shown, but once you get it in your own hand you know that one handed operation is hard if not impossible.

The best feature is being able measure something while holding it even if it is several feet to the other end.
