Great combo, allows for quick and easy drilling and driving. This is actually my first impact driver, and boy am I kicking myself for not buying one earlier. It saves so much time and frustration with stripped phillips head screws, and makes short work of driving them in. These have paired very well with my existing set of B+D yard tools.

The chuck and clutch work great in the drill. I put a small bit in it and turned a 2×4 into Swiss cheese real fast. I also drove some lags on my neighbors deck with the impact driver it also performs much better than I expected. I got a great deal on what appears to be a great set of cordless tools!

Pretty powerful and consistent. Both the drill and impact driver are light weight but still feels sturdy and well made. The battery seems to hold a charge for a good amount of time although I haven’t had any big projects yet. Overall it is a nice combo pack for the price.

I have been using this for about a week now. The drill seems well built with the clutch built in so you can adjust your torque. The impact driver struggles when using 3 inch or longer screws. If you are joining two 2×4 boards when you get passed 1 1/2″ of screw then it slows down and gets louder. Not sure that it will break but the sound is a little worrisome. Comes with 1 battery and a charger. All in all I think this is a good set and have always been happy with the tools i have purchased from Black+Decker.
