I bought this for a shiplap project because I wanted to cut the boards upstairs and not deal with a cord. After 2 days and 30 something cuts later, it still held plenty of charge power to make all of my cuts. I wish I would have bought this a few projects ago.

This saw was the one I was looking for and the price for it was great

I’ve had this saw now for a few years and it works great for small and light duty projects. The reviews I’ve read on here are pretty bad… but I’ve had nothing but good times using this saw and teaching my kids how to use power tools with it! It’s small enough for little hands but big enough for a 2×4!

Very light and easy to handle, smooth cuts, great for homeowner type projects. Quality is excellent. Great entry-level portable circular saw.

I NEVE BROGHT BLACKDECKER SAW

It is a nice tool for very light work. I used it for cutting basic plywood and it kept catching or getting stuck halfway through the cuts. I am not sure if it could be user error because I am new to all of this. But I would recommend something with more power.

It’s good for small projects, struggles with 3/4″ plywood at times. Will not replace a corded saw.

Handles easily, absolutely perfect for small jobs. Really like it. I am replacing a running board fence and am able to cut on the spot w/o dragging cords around. Adjusts simply and perfect for my needs.

Replaced one that has an issue, works good

Very easy to use and I now have three devices that use the same battery: Reciprocating saw, weed trimmer and of course this saw.

SAW CUTS OUT AT HALF PASS? SEEMS THE BATTERY ISN’T CHARGED ENOUGH? MINE WAS TOO…Simple fix..separate the halves and look at the small computer board as it sits. Don’t remove yet..you’ll see two sets of three 90* steel leads going into the heat sink. the top post of the top three leads need to be shorted against the heat sink to get full power and cut all the way through…i took the soldier iron and soldier and made a bridge to link the two and have no issues since…Batman

Disappointed in its lack of power.

This is my second saw of this model. I really like the convenience of being cordless and works with my B&D battery system I already have. The first saw was good until the gear in the gearbox stripped some teeth. I have only tried this new one a little bit and so far it works great. There are cordless saws out there that have better reviews, but for the money I chose to stick with this one. I was especially impressed with Home Depot’s price, easy ordering process, and fast delivery to my home.

Battery life is good and it’s lightvweight

This is a good light work saw. I don’t think you could build a deck with it but a few boards or some trim you should be good.

It’s a battery killer. Good enough for small jobs but you better have two fully charged batteries for anything requiring a lot of cutting
