It’s a compact tool that gets the job done! When I took it out of the box, I was a bit hesitant because it’s small. But it quickly proved me wrong. I was working on a gate and i needed curved cuts. It did the job well! Clean cuts and a nice curve!

For a casual DIYer, I don’t think you can beat the Matrix as a system, and I’m really pleased by the jig saw attachment. It would be great to have a little more cut depth on the blade they include, but it’s nice to have this on hand without having to drag out a whole nother tool.BONUS FACT: Merriam Webster recognizes ‘nother’ as a word.

I’ve owned my matrix for 2 years or more now. I do remodeling, I was told it would never last. I’ve done everything from flooring, drywall, electrical, metal roofs doors windows, I use it for everything. If it makes 6 months it’s doing good. Use my daily I love it and I’ve made my money back 10xs over. It’s a very good system for the price. Love it.

I purchased this when I couldn’t find my Jigsaw since I had the drill. I was working with paneling and it worked great. I also went back and purchased the trim saw, I’ve read some of the reviews and this is not a work horse product. It does well for what it was intended.

I have piratically bought all the Matrix accessories by now and I find them all to be of great quality. The Jig Saw is definitely one of the most useful and effective. The B&D Matrix series is not really the drill/tool set for a dedicated pro user as it will not be as powerful as the options of a dedicated drill or dedicated saw and so on. However, having a few of these accessories in one bag makes it so that I can show up to any task at home or in my workshop and do anything I need. This saw makes clean and fast cuts and it is very easy to handle.
