Because of this attachment, I can turn an all day affair of tree-trimming and cutting branches to bail for trash into a one-or-two-hour session. Not only that: but in the 9 or so tree-trimmings I’ve done in the short time that I’ve had this attachment, I’ve run the tool hot every time. I even find just plain SILLY uses for this thing as well, such as demolishing items that won’t fit in my garbage can during trash-day, or cutting and installing steel-wire closet racks. I even got rid of a large plastic swimming pool by shredding it into 12 inch squares.

The matrix system is excellent, i own all the attachments except foe the ocilating tool. Easy to use, easy to swap attachments. The reciprocating saw is easy to hold, low vibration and sharp. Also works with craftsman bolt on drills.

It’s way smaller than the average reciprocating saw, takes the same blades, and is still strong enough to slice through tree branches. Having the blade at 99 degrees to the hand feels way more natural too.

I am a 73 year old woman and always have had a love for tools and am a do it your selfer. I bought this reciprocating saw attachment for my matrix drill and was amazed with the results from it. I needed to tear a card table apart to put in garbage bag for disposal. Well before my husband got 20 feet to his building and back I had this card table cut up and bagged. So later my son was going to replace the exhaust system on my car so he also used my reciprocating saw to cut the old parts off. When he got done he said oh mom that thing is amazing. I love it because you don’t have to hook up an extension cord, it is not heavy like our other reciprocating saw and it easier to handle. I since have bought the jig saw attachment and I assure you there will be many more to follow. Thank you Black and Decker for the wonderful idea.
