As expected.

The trim saw attachment is one of my favorites. Often used for any sheet material (hardy-board, plywood, osb…) Great for those patch jobs!

The trim saw snaps in place and it cuts plywood and trim boards with ease. A push of a button and the trim saw pops out to exchange for my driver drill attachment. What a great design.

This is great as I no longer have to drag out my big heavy 7 1/4 circular saw. It is great for most of the “honey do” list stuff.

This is the fourth Matrix tool head I have purchased. It is great for small jobs. Lots of power. Light weight and easy to use.

Worked very well. It is exactly what it is called. A trim saw. You would have to flip a 2 x 4 to cut all the way through. I used it for some 3/4” board.

Will only cut up to 1 inch thick wood, fast. Worth the price and convenience. Recommend for doing projects at home.

Remodeling my tiny kitchen and my tiny saw is wonderful. Even though it won’t cut deep, I just turn the 2×4 over and it’s done!

Super handy tool without the intimidation of a full-size saw (for beginners like myself).

Very good saw, easy to use, and a great price. I will be using this saw a lot especially outdoor trim projects.

This attachment is accurate enough that a 2×4 can be cut almost perfectly without an uneven edge if you take the time to carefully mark your cut. But without a guide, I find this tool a little hard to aim because you’re effectively aiming sideways with a drill. That said, since I work with 1-by sized wood, this tool serves me well. But because it is such a small trim-sized saw(3 + 3/8ths), I have only ever used it to rip things and do crosscuts. But it cuts 2x4s just fine, hah!So far, I have used mine to make multiple pieces of furniture, and a large above-ground garden bed system

I bought this shortly after my purchase of the 20v B&D matrix drill/driver unit. After using it for a fence project, I was very pleased with its performance. It cuts quickly with plenty of power. One thing I would have liked to see is an adjustable depth of cut. As it is, the Exact measurement from the bottom of the guard plate to the tip of the bottom-most tooth is 7/8″ so not quite a full inch, but boards that measure 1″ x whatever are milled so they are not even 1″ thick anyway.I discovered that you CAN still cut a 2″ x whatever with this attachment. I cut a 2″ x 4″ by accurately measuring the cut on both sides, so I. It cut half the board on one side, flipped it over, and cut through the other side just fine. It didn’t even sound different when the blade was sunk deep in the 2″ x 4″

I do a lot of projects around my house and have found this to be very helpful, it beats having to get out the regular circular saw for just simple cuts, I highly recommend it.
