First use was cutting flexible metal conduit. Saw is lightweight & reasonably powerful. A new blade with a fresh battery allowed me to hold the flex with one hand & saw with the other, job done in seconds (goodbye hacksaw!). Compatible with my B&D string trimmer batteries.

Been looking to get a reciprocating saw for a while now and recently purchased the 5 1/2″ circular saw that uses the 20V battery as well. I have several other B&D power tools I used in the yard and all have worked flawlessly. Have some wood fence work to do and will definitely be using this to cut down the old planks once I’m done. This saw also fit my budget for around the home use.. The man in the powered tools section recommended since I already own other 20V B&D products thus making the purchase of a product with a battery and charger unnecessary.

i absolutely love this tool. its light and compact and has the power and speed for what i need it to do…..BUT! i was cutting some drywall yesterday in my garage and it just stopped working! ive only had this thing for a couple weeks and used it maybe 5 times. im very disappointed and im really not sure how to go about the warranty exchange process.
