The BLACK+DECKER 4.5 Amp Jig Saw features a powerful variable-speed motor that can generate up to 3,000 SPM to help make fast cuts through wood, metal or plastic. This saw can make bevel cuts of up to 45 degrees and its new and improved wire guard sightline improves visibility to the cut line and helps you make accurate cuts. Its compact handle with over mold gives you increased control while reducing vibration. Other features include a quick-clamp, which allows for fast, tool-free blade changes and an adjustable shoe to help maintain cutting stability.

This jigsaw feels solid and heavy in the hand. The trigger is responsive and the handhold is comfortable to use for prolonged use.The t-shank saw blade is fine on ply… But I recommend investing in quality blades, however… It ripped a 1”x10” diameter circle in redwood slowly but effectively.
