The BLACK+DECKER BDEJS600C 5 Amp Jig Saw features Curve Control technology, allowing you to adjust the saw’s Orbit in 1 of 4 customized settings to help complete your specific project. The 5 Amp variable-speed motor generates up to 3,000 SPM of cutting power. This saw can make bevel cuts of up to 45 degree and features an adjustable shoe for a stable cutting platform. It also has a new and improved Wire Guard which provides clear line of sight for precise cuts.

Appears Mode Control Dial is reversed. The Manual indicates least aggressive cut is a “1” and most aggressive cut is “4”. However the “1” shows a very curvy line and “4” indicates a straight line. I would think the straight line (least aggressive) should be a “1” and the most curvy line should be a “4”.

How can you go wrong with this saw. It’s easy to use, feels good in the hand, and easy to replace saw blades. It has plenty of power and the curve control helps on tough cuts. Overall great product.

I bought this because I had a specific need and did not have a jigsaw – For a very inexpensive tool it performed quite well. I needed to be able to cut in a curve for this project and this worked well. It took a couple of practice cuts but it was easy. For an entry level tool that isn’t going to be used on a daily basis it is great for the price.
