Finding replacement sheets with the proper dust hole alignment was all but impossible. Had to order generic sanding sheets on-line. Otherwise the unit is fine.

I broke this tool the first weekend I had it. I broke another one earlier, that’s why I bought a second one. I broke the tip off of it by pressing too hard. Bottom line: This tool is not for heavy-duty sanding. They send you fine grit paper with the tool, so that’s a clue right there. But I thought I could use 80 grit paper with it. I was using that, and pressing hard, when the tip broke off. I can still sort of use it without the tip, but not for probing into tight spaces.

This sander works really well. In fact I bought this one just in case my wife and I needed to use them at the same time. I just wished the velcro pads would hold up a little longer, but I can’t say I can think of how they could. They take a beating and at least they’re replaceable.

This sander gets the job done, but does not hold up to it. I purchased this for a fairly small project (sanding a porch swing) and the diamond-shaped tip (not the detail tip) broke off the second day of use. The screw appears to have worn a hole through the plastic big enough that the head can slip right through, and while it doesn’t render the sander unusable it does not make it a “detail” sander anymore. Very disappointing from a company that I’ve found to be reliable in the past. I would not recommend this product.

My husband had bought this tool after watching me have a hard time using a square sander. He handles any sander without issue but I can’t sand for very long because the vibration makes my hands go numb. This little gem doesn’t shake my hands at all. The grip on the sander pad is amazing, I had even ripped old pads while pulling them off. It’s great getting into small areas close to the floor. I’m so impressed with this tool and how efficient it is. This is a tool that you can definitely get the lady folk and they will absolutely love it.
