Has been working well for me so far. The paddle switch is easy to use, it can even be locked to stay on for larger projects

Very good small basic sander for small not too complicated jobs

This is great for small projects. My wife bought this a couple years ago and uses It on her household projects and crafts. The cordless feature is great and It definitely gets the job done.

Really fast, and efficient sanding. I’ve never used a power sander before, and this one is very easy to use. The sample sanding paper with it is also really strong! I was able to use the paper to cut out my own sanding paper squares.

I have used this sander on a few projects around the house. I have had no issues to this point and it seems to provide good power and handels well. If you are a dIY’er I would totally recomend this sander.

I have used this sander on several refinishing projects: 2 bookcases, a 2-drawer stereo stand, 4 night stands, an antique washstand, and a large oak dining table. The sander works great! I have used various sanding grits and prefer to cut my own sanding sheets (1/4 of a large sheet); I’ve use the included punch block to make the holes and have had no problems with fit or slippage.

I bought this unit with a date code of 2018 46-58-41 in April 2020. Stopped working in September. Took it apart and switch was okay, but armature is bad. See attached photo.

I bought this sander about a year ago I loved it so much that I bought another one just recently. One of the best standers had ever purchased. The panel locking in the on position is one of the greatest things ever.

The switch mechanism is truly controlled with the palm of your hand.

This is my second B&D 1/4 sheet sander. The first one lasted over 5 years of average use. The bearing which is located in the bottom platen gave way. Cost of the platen is more than 50 % cost of the machine and hence I had to buy a completely new Sander.I like the feature of palm actuated paddle switch on the new Sander. The machine is robust and easy to handle.

Just bought my 2nd one. The first bought in 2017 and the fan cracked while running. For the price it was a good sander.
